Italian researchers insist that by people who regularly drink coffee, the risk of liver cancer is forty-one percent lower than by people who don’t do it.
Scientists from the Milan Institute made analysis of more than a dozen studies concerning liver cancer, where was stated the quantity of drunk coffee by competitors. Italian experts believe that substances contained in coffee, can block enzymes which promote cancer development. In addition, they found that caffeine is linked to lower risk of cirrhosis that often leads to cancer.
Earlier investigations, which were made by Japanese experts and had more than 90 000 people of older ages, showed that by people who drink coffee regularly, the risk of liver cancer fell by half, compared with those who had not used this drink.
