Coffee saves from Delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS): the group of researches from the University of State Georgia proposes to use caffeine in short doses from muscles pains during first week of physical exercises, in order to make these exercises as regular process. Scientists recommend drink two cups of coffee before warming-up.

It helps get pleasure out of exercises and decrease susceptibleness to pain, which hamper to continue trainings. The experiments, which were made by Victor Maridakis with collegians, have shown that drinking coffee for an hour before experiment with a peak load reduced pain by 48 %, with an average load – by 26%.

However, researchers warn about the careful use of caffeine, because high doses can cause anxiety by some people, as well as palpitation and sleep disturbance.
