Here is a little modest amateurish project in honor of coffee. There are a lot of them in Internet and will be the same in future. The reason is coffee.

There is no common opinion about the origin of word «coffee». Some people believe that it has arisen from Arabic word «kahve» – «power, energy». Other connect it with a name of Ethiopian province Kaffa, what is more believable. This divine drink is Ethiopian by origin. The first records of coffee in chronicles are dated 575. Nowadays coffee is known to all and sundry, but there was a time when it was ironically called «syrup of soot» or «horrible decoction of old shoes». The history confirms that coffee has come to Europe not long ago. In 1626 the envoy of the Pope, coming from Persia, entertained guests with a domestic drink. Unusual beverage was to Italian’s taste and soon it has gained a lot of admirers. In 1646 in Venice was opened the first coffee house in the world. Six years later – the first coffee house in London. By the end of the century more than 3000 cafes regaled here metropolitans.

That’s all about it

It is a very divine drink, which is described in many beautiful legends. Here is one of them. Archangel Gabriel presented Allah marvelous plant. The Most High heat-treated plant’s grains. Then he made a divine drink which dispelled sleep and increase mind. It was called «qahwah», what means “excited”. One of the grains fell by accident on the ground and grew through. When goatherder Kaldi pastured his goats, they came across the bush with red fruits and gnawed it. After that goats started frisk and jump. And it dawned upon herder – the cause is in unusual fruits! The rumour about miraculous and tonic drink spread all over the East.

The reach Japanese make themselves coffee bathes – small pool or bath with coffee beans warming up to 60 degrees Celsius. Then absolutely tired person feel himself brisk and relaxed. There is a «coffee-sauna» in Tokyo. 13 tons of coffee mass, warming up to 40 degrees and visitors enjoy this liquid.
