The negative effect of coffee on the heart depends on the genetic features.
Such conclusion has drawn international team of scientists from the University of Toronto, Harvard School of Public Health and the University of Costa Rica, after research with 4,028 Costa Ricans. Caffeine, which is a part of coffee, is transformed by means of liver enzyme cytochrome P450 1A2 (CYP 1A2). Ingredients
4 portions:
- 50 ml of strong coffee
- 50 ml of apple juice
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- a pinch of mixture of 5 seasonings
- a pinch of ground cloves
- 2 sticks of vanilla
- 3 oranges
- a stick of cinnamon
Preparation
Put all ingredients to one pan and bring to a boil on the middle fire, then weaken the fire and leave for 10 minutes.
Pour mixture into the previously heated jug, then pour into cappuccino-cups and add in each cup a stick of vanilla.

Ingredients
- a cup of cold strong coffee
- a half glass of pineapple juice
- one ice-cream scoop
- some pieces of pineapple
Preparation
Mix coffee with pineapple juice and pour this mixture over the ice-cream scoop in the beaker or in the high glass.
Decorate with pineapple pieces, add straw or spoon with a long shank.

Ingredients
- a bar of semisweet chocolate
- 4 oz of brown sugar
- 4 oz of ground coffee
- 2 sticks of cinnamon
- 3 pieces of cloves
- 8 cups of water
Preparation
Boil water in the Turkish coffee pot, and then add pieces of cloves, cinnamon, sugar and chocolate.
When the mixture begins to boil, take foam away. Turn the gas low and add coffee.
Let the beverage draw for 5 minutes before serving.

According to BBC-News, a strong cup of coffee has different effects on men and women, research shows.
The scientists of The University of Barcelona have performed a research with 668 healthy volunteers. At first they were asked to drink coffee with caffeine and then without it. A cup of espresso, which was taken at the beginning, had a restorative effect already in 10 minutes.
By that, in order to reach maximum caffeine concentration in the blood, human’s body needs 45 minutes, but half of participants got concentration after just a few minutes.
The decaf coffee had a similar effect (exactly which contains 5mg of this substance). In both cases, researches have marked the most rapid effect achievement by men than by the weaker sex.

Ingredients
- two teaspoons of freshly ground coffee
- ¼ glass of cognac (50 ml)
- 2 glasses of water
- sugar
Preparation
Put coffee into the coffee-pot, add hot water, and bring to a boil.
Pour out finished coffee into the cups, add cognac.
Serve sugar separately.

Preparation
Put coffee into the coffee-pot, add hot water, and bring to a boil.
Mix up hot milk and vanilla syrup, pour into the cups and add hot coffee.
